Vanidades Promotion

Vanidades announced its partnership with Palacios, Miss Universe 1986. Barbara will serve as the spokesperson and the beautiful face behind the new subscription campaign of Vanidades that will launch in April. The campaign will include subscription coupons and a produced TV spot featuring the multi-talented and successful businesswoman. The TV commercial will air nationally on Univision Networks, including Telefutura and Galavisiόn.

As part of the subscription campaign, an exclusive jewelry piece created by Barbara Palacios Design Co. will be given away to new subscribers as a premium. “We feel Barbara Palacios truly represents the Vanidades woman”, says Marines Duarte, Group Publisher for the magazine. “Not only is Barbara a successful entrepreneur, but she is also a family woman; a mother of two. She exemplifies true elegance and beauty; exactly what our Vanidades readers are all about.”

The new campaign will not only add momentum to Vanidades’ already increasing USA and Puerto Rico circulation base of 170,000, but introduce readers to Barbara Palacios’ wonderful line of jewelry, handbags and creams.

“I truly believe Vanidades makes Latin women proud”, explains Barbara Palacios. “Vanidades has always been in my home and not only do I have the opportunity to represent it in this wonderful campaign, but I have created an exclusive and delicate silver jewelry piece that I am sure the Vanidades woman will love.”
